[This Week’s Update]
This week was a bit chaotic. The team and I had other assignments that needed finishing, so we went our separate ways for a couple of weeks and completed what was needed. The main bulk of the assignment involved SolidWorks 3D modeling, simulation, and documentation. I feel a lot more comfortable with 3D modeling software after this experience, and it will definitely help with future plans I have for a project I can start once University is over.
Despite the busy schedule, we did manage to get some more tests planned out for our master’s project. If you saw the previous blog post’s video, then you’d have seen the PDU (the big block-looking thing). We’re also working on making that MUCH smaller, though that won’t be finished until the coming week.

On the personal side of things, I’ve added the Tandoor software into a Docker container on my Home-Lab ( Check out the project here ) so my partner and I can now manage our cooking recipes at home. The software allows you to meal plan for the week and will even generate a shopping list based on the ingredients for your meals. I’ve had a lot of fun with it so far and would recommend it! I’ve also started back up on my game development, though it’s mostly minimal bug fixing for now but next week will be adding new events with scripting.
That’s all for this week—see you next time!
